Has it been more than 8 years already? WOW! Times flies when you're having fun
I love to learn new techniques. "Techniques" to a hairdresser are like "Tools" to a carpenter -- The more you have, the better the end result will be. I have, and will continue to develop, my technique for personalized haircutting that suits your hair's texture and enhances your individual sense of style.
As a former educator for Aquage -- who's approach to hair is BOTH creative and technical -- I've developed an eye for Form and Balance. These two things have cemented my stake in Grand Rapids as one of the most sought-after hairdressers for Formal Long Hairdressing.
For those who wish to have long hair or just add volume, I offer TWO methods of extensions. I was the first certified Hairlocs Extension Artist (www.hairlocs.com) in Grand Rapids as well as the Premier KLIX Extension Specialist (www.klixhair.com).
My television credits include "Come On Over", a kids show that is locally produced. While working on the show, I've had the pleasure of doing hair for Mindy Sterling (Frau Farbissina from Austin Powers), Vicky Lewis (from NewsRadio), and Ruth Buzzy (from Laugh In).
I've traveled all over the US teaching classes and demonstrating hair on stage, I've even help present hair at the prestigious North American Hairstyling Awards ("the NAHA's"). Now I invite you to come down to Cheeky Strut and visit me on my TRUE stage."
